Manipur CM N Biren Singh launching STAR Education Manipur in Imphal on Saturday.

Chief Minister N Biren Singh today launched STAR Education Manipur at Classic Grande, Imphal.

The Manipur government, on Saturday, launched a new flagship education programme, in a bid to transform the education system of the state.

The STAR Education Manipur would deploy an innovative technology and data-driven platform, coupled with high quality learning materials, effective training and ongoing coaching for teachers and school leaders, and technology-enabled support teams.

While pointing out that the earlier education system was centred on getting government jobs, Chief Minister N Biren Singh has highlighted the need to transform the narrow vision of the earlier education system with a broader version for creating jobs as well as serving the nation.
